Cronos has confirmed details regarding the recent Tectonic exploit, revealing that the incident impacted $120.4 million in borrowed funds. The blockchain network’s post-mortem analysis shows that a notable sum was transferred out before validators could act.
According to Cronos, $9.2 million representing 7.6% of the total affected borrowing successfully left the network. This outflow occurred before the network’s validators intervened to roll back the exploit, preventing further loss.
