The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Hy-Tech Engineers closed on August 27, 2026, marking a significant success with an overall subscription rate of 247.39 times. The issue, valued at INR 135.73 crore, will see its shares debut on the mainboard exchanges on September 1, 2026. The company finalized share allotment on August 28, 2026, with applicants able to verify their status through the registrar Bigshare Services, their broker’s platform, or the BSE/NSE websites.
The strong investor interest, evidenced by the oversubscription, is further reflected in the grey market premium (GMP). As of August 31, 2026, the GMP stood at INR 44 against an upper price band of INR 53, suggesting an estimated listing price of INR 97 per share. This indicates a potential listing gain of approximately 83% for investors.
Demand for Hy-Tech Engineers’ shares was broad-based, with particularly robust interest from non-institutional investors (NIIs). The NII segment was subscribed 412.96 times, largely propelled by small HNI (sNII) bids reaching 556.48 times. Retail investors showed substantial interest, subscribing 175.11 times, while the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category closed at 249.71 times.
Hy-Tech Engineers, based in Thane, Maharashtra, brings over four decades of experience in the hydraulics industry. The company specializes in the design, manufacturing, and supply of a wide range of hydraulic fittings, catering to sectors such as construction machinery, agriculture, automotive, and industrial applications. With certifications that also permit entry into railway and defence sectors, the company operates six manufacturing facilities across Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, boasting a combined installed capacity of 483 lakh hydraulic fittings annually as of March 31, 2026.
Financially, Hy-Tech Engineers demonstrated revenue growth from INR 137.71 crore in FY2024 to INR 189.40 crore in FY2026, accompanied by a rise in net income from INR 11.6 crore to INR 22.59 crore over the same period. Exports accounted for 29.37% of revenue in FY2026, reaching 11 countries.
The company’s valuation appears competitive. On a post-issue basis, Hy-Tech Engineers is priced at a Price-to-Earnings (P/E) ratio of 21.0122.27 times on FY2026 earnings. This valuation is notably lower than that of its listed peers, such as Aeroflex Industries (107.04 times P/E), Dynamatic Technologies (230.32 times P/E), and Yuken India (69 times P/E), suggesting a more conservative entry valuation.
